Himonas Apartment is an ideal homely holiday retreat. Home from home and very welcoming hosts are the Himonas Family. We were most pleased with our stay here and would recommend this apartment to our friends holidaying in Cyprus. The apartment is very well equipped with plenty of space and good privacy in a lovely valley a 5 minute drive to the beach which is not over crowded yet has adequate bars and restaurants. The apartments were very roomy and high ceilinged so even when it was very hot the apartment was cool. There was a balcony were we could sit out and relax over breakfast or dinner.The kitchen was extremely well equiped so that self catering was a real option when the delights of the local tavernas palled.The pool and garden were extremely attractive and kept spotlessly clean.Only a short drive from the beach and local tavernas both of which were good. Located close to the motorway network we sp. The Himonas family were very welcoming with gifts of fruit from the lovingly tended gardens. The apartment was quite adequate for two of us with plenty of crockery and cutlery and a decent sized fridge. We liked using the ceiling fans instead of noisy air-conditioning at night and the Wi-Fi kept the technophobes happy!. The view from the balcony to the surrounding countryside and hilltop village was quite special. Everything was clean, tidy and peaceful, especially the lovely pool area. We have stayed in the Pissouri Bay area a number of times and these appartments were the best we have used. The appartment we had was spacious, air conditioned (didn't need to use it though), very well equipped and extremely clean. There is a beautiful clean pool in the well-kept gardens and the location is great -only 5 minutes from the beach, restaurants and mini markets or 10 minutes from Pissouri village up on the hill, or the motorway to visit other parts of the island. It is a very beautiful place near the sea and pissouri village. Room was perfect - large living room and kitchen and a very pleasant bedroom. Large balcony. Within two air conditioners , the kitchen has everything you need. We traveled to Cyprus 2 weeks and Himonas our third place . And it is the best. this relaxation and recreation, vineyards and mountains , the sea and the beach. Yiannos, thanks for a great stay!!!. My wife and I stayed there for a week and had a fantastic time, very relaxing and quiet had the pool to our selfs most days apartments spacious and fully equipped there was also free wifi. Every where was spotless, the owner would bring us fresh fruit every morning from the surrounding gardens, there are some very good restaurant near by and a beach overall a great place to stay 10 out of 10. We stayed in 1 bedroom apartment and had a great time. Himonas apartments are located in a quite area of Pissouri, 5 min driving from the beach and the restaurants. Our apartment was simple designed but very clean and well equipped and the charming swimming pool was surrounding by trees. I highly recommend Himonas apartments. Pissouri Bay is a beautiful place and Himonas is a great set of apartments to explore here and the surrounding areas. Clean, quiet, lovely pool, surrounded by countryside. Like a little home from home, great value -definately recommended! Taking the coast road to Paphos is a must!. We stayed (4 adults + 2 kids) in July 13 and enjoyed our time enormously. Great hospitality and comfort, reasonable prices and picturesque surroundings - all that make us think to come back more times!. very clean, great aircon, lovely pool, great scenery, v pleasant owner & family, added plus of melons from garden for breakfast on first morning. Traffic which spoiled the wonderful peace and quiet rather too often. No criticism whatsoever. It is not dislikes, but: Rooms need double-glass windows. It would be good to have an active audio system or speakers for smartphone/tablet in the room. Nothing. We got 2 single beds instead of a double bed that I had required. The water pressure in the bathroom and some traffic noise were the down side. There is nothing to not like really but a car is definately needed to get around and the bars/restaurants are not close enough to walk at night as the route is along a road. Taxis are around but are quite expensive as they come from the village (which is up on the hills surrounding the bay). However, absolutely fine for strolling down to the beach during the day. was a 2 min drive to beach, which i honestly didnt mind at all, so not really a 'negative'.
