Excellent place to stay while exploring cyprus,great ,friendly,very helpfull,familly run hotel,the hotel is run by the son and two daughters of the owner George.they are very friendly and helpful,George now takes a bit of a back seat acting mainly as night watch man/security.The bar is franchised and served good food,run by two ladies till lunch time then by George,a really nice older gentleman till the early hours.Mandalena is a popular hotel,with mainly british customers,ten minute stroll to .

The staff were friendly and helpful. Our apartment was spacious and we had the sea view from our balcony. It was great to have the air conditioning in the bedroom. Do make sure you agree air con in your price. It did feel a little dated but was good value for money. Pleasant staff, good location, room was excellent and all areas very clean. We have stayed at the Mandalena hotel once before and were not disappointed on our return. An excellent choice for both families and couples alike. The apartments are really spacious and equipped with everything you need to almost feel like home. Quiet location, though at a walkable distance from any point of interest. It is a very cheap hotel for what it has to offer. Nice staff, pool, poolside area. Room and facilities good. Handy main road location for transport. Good location as well, only a 5-minute walk from the main street on Protaras. breakfasts ended at 1030 at the hotel,seemed a bit early,aspecially for us that like to stay out a bit later on an evening,were not usually ready for a full english till around 1130 .this meant we walked to the nearby bar most days for brecky 'mamlia'which was really good. Nothing to dislike. WiFi is only accessible at a very small distance from the reception. The 'double beds' are actually joined twin beds. The karaoke night taking place weekly beside the pool might be unpleasant for some, especially when trying to sleep. Not near the beach if you were to want that. A bit difficult to find parking space but not that hard.
