The Amphora Hotel is a very new, nice, excellent, near the blue flag sea beach Opened in 2013! The closest beach of sea is only 20 steps from the hotel. The closest Municipal beach of the sea is about 100 steps from the hotel and is very clean, warm water shower in individual private dressing room, separate leg washer in from of the building. Much better than the Coral beach, which is about 30 minutes by bus. Daily bus ticket is 5 EUR this year. Sandy beaches. the harbor is only 15 minutes walk.

This is a new hotel so was not sure what to expect - I was so pleased that I made this choice and know that from all the places I have stayed that this hotel is going to be a success story. The location is fantastic with easy access to Paphos harbour. If you go for a walk along the sea path towards the harbour and look at the other hotels along the way you will soon see what makes this hotel so much better. The other hotels have hardly any space for sun loungers and everyone is crowded in. The . Very excellent location - close to the sea and close to the center but still stays quiet place. All rooms and suites has sea view with balconies. So great to drink coffee in the morning there (still shade, because suns comes up from the back side) and great o stay there in late eveing to drink a glass of wine because you see wide sea with big moon hanging up in the sky! Also I would mention very friendly and carefull stff - always great to see them in early morning while having breakfast - they. We spent a week at Amphora in a one bedroom suite (2 adults + 2 children) and thought the hotel was great. We've stayed in Paphos several times before so know the area quite well. Amphora's only just opened, and they are still doing some finishing work around the complex (landscaping etc...) but we knew that before we booked and that's partly why we got a great price. The room was excellent, nicely designed and fitted (excellent bathroom) plenty of space, really comfy beds, a fridge, and a grea. Hotel price is excellent, very clean and nicely located by sea promenade. Parking available, swimming pool and a pool bar were very relaxing. Good brekafast buffet, very friendly waiters, stock well re-supplied, fresh fruits and local specialities available. Located in a hotel district, however you will not feel that you are in the busy tourist district. The hotel consists of a couple of single buildings, there are 24 rooms in each. Still some more will be built - that's why the price is discou. All rooms sea-view. About 10 restaurants within 5 minutes walk, including Italian, Cypriot, African, French and Chinese. Scenic path along the sea front about 2 miles long. about 10 minute walk to Pafos cafes and another 10 to harbour and castle. Plenty of choice for cycle or vehicle hire. Lots of interesting places to visit. Cheap buses pass by frequently to the airport, waterpark or harbour. We had breakfast included and there was a great choice; yoghurts, fruit, cheeses, hot and cold meats. From the moment I stepped into reception I felt welcome and I was lucky enough to be given a room upgrade to a suite which was excellent, my room was right on the front over looking the water, the rooms are minimal but have lots of room and have everything in them, very modern fittings and the aircon was in every room which was excellent and no extra cost for that. Breakfast was really good a great selection of continental food and also cooked breakfasts and cereals, I booked two nights and did. Excellent rooms, very contemporary design. Beautiful furniture and bathroom. Really free wifi, no extra charge. Good airport transfer service. Personnel drives you to your room after check-in by golf cart :) There's a free parking space for your rental car near your room. You can find all kinds of bars and restaurants within walking distance. The majority of which serve cheap local and English food, but you can also find more classy French and Italian restaurants in the same area. Guests are ty. Spacious, clean and modern designed rooms facing the swimming pools and the sea. Location excellent not in the busiest part, yet no far from it. Loads of parking space. All the staff is wonderful. Because we had an early flight back home, they were nice enough to serve us breakfast before the usual time. And as we didn't have a kettle in the room [the one and only thing we didn't have] they filled our travelling flask with hot water every day. Although work was still going on, there was no in. The hotel is ideally located on Poseidonas avenue near the harbour. There are many good cafes and restaurants next to Amphora Hotel, there is also a promenade along the coast driving to the Harbour. Rooms are comfortable and looks on the sea and guests have the possibility to admire beautiful sunset and sunrises. There is a big pool and good small beach with crystal clear water downstairs. Lounge bar "Suite 48" is very nice place to drink some cocktails with friends or take romantic candlelig. The was no Russian TV channel Kanal 1. Just needs a bit more greenery and planting to add some colour and finish it off (which we were told is planned early June). Internet available, but sometimes comes and goes. Kettle and fridge provided but no coffee etc. You need to pop across the road to the supermarket. Air con is ok but only goes down to 17⁰C which is too warm for sleeping for us hardy northerners ;-) Shame the TV didn’t have a lot of choice of English-speaking channels as there seemed to be more Brits than anyone else. I liked everything. Beds are a bit hard. Although bars and restaurants are within walking distance, tourist attractions like archeological sites are best explored by car or bus. Personnel seems a little bit new to the business and therefore sometimes a bit clueless, but they are very kind (like all Cypriots imho) and are there to help you out with all your aspirations. At that moment the hotel provides few facilities, probably it will be changed with time. The strange fact is the absence of soap dish in bathroom.
