What people say

I did not stay myself as I booked the room for a client. My client was very happy with the room itself. Personally I was very satisfied with the hotel personnel which was very helpful and accommodating, always smiling, and ready to go beyond their duties to assist. The room price dropped significantly after the March crisis in Cyprus economy making this hotel great value for money.

all reviews

Staff were very friendly and helpful! Our room and the hotel in general was very clean and the decor and furnishings looked almost new! The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and the waitess was very pleasant and helpful. We would certainly use the Altius Hotel again if we visit Nicosia again. Extremele friendly reception, with a welcome cocktail and lots of useful information. Nice hotel, well furnished, comfortable and trendy rooms. Wifi worked impeccably throughout the whole hotel. Good breakfast buffet. Good location: only a 15 minutes walk to the very city centre. I liked the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, the comfort of the hotel, the good standard of the rooms, the free wifi which worked well in the room, and the location in Nicosia. Friendly and helpful staff, good sized bedrooms, stylish entrance / bar / restaurant area, good location near city centre and bus station, excellent value for money. The staff is excellent. Big rooms, renovated a few months ago. Very big and nice lobby, and breakfast area. Free wireless internet all over the hotel. Staff very friendly, parking in front of the hotel, 10min walk from the main shopping area and 15min walk from the Turkish side's border, breakfast ok. Outstandingly friendly and helpful staff who helped with any queries or problems, both related to the hotel and more general issues. Spacious, very clean and comfortable rooms.Very helpful and friendly stuff always in a progessional way. Excellent value for money. Modern, minimalist hotel Large rooms with comfortable bed Clean and functional Good A/C in rooms Breakfast buffet. Just a couple of things.........we had to stand in the bathroom doorway to connect to the wifi!...both for computer and mob phone. There were only 2 cups/packs of coffee/tea/bottles water and yet we were in a triple room! No information as to what number to dial on the phone, to speak to reception. There is not much parking space in front of the hotel (although we were lucky to have one of the few spots). There was very little not to like.it is a good hotel and I would go back anytime. But I think the standard of the evening meal could be improved by keeping to some classic Cypriot dishes - I seemed to be the only diner for dinner. Also I would recommend more regular checks of the plumbing in the rooms. Nothing. The bathroom is small. Not so good soundproofing. 15-20 min fast walk away from everything that might interest a tourist and from almost everything that might interest a businessman. On the other hand you can t find a hotel like that downtown at that price.
