The Alasia was an excellent hotel for our recent stay in Cyprus for a week. We had family staying at a beach resort hotel in Limassol so we weren't looking for a 'sand and sea' resort. The staff are very polite, helpful and courteous. The quality of the furnishings, bar, restaurant and pool were as good as we've experienced on the island. Fantastic! Attentive service, excellent facilities, spacious room, good location - about 20 minutes walk to the sea so better if driving, great breakfast, amazing spa/salt water pool/sauna/steam room, bar and restaurant, everything was just brilliant. It was rather quiet in the bar/restaurant but we didn't mind as we were spending our days and evenings out. This is 5 star hotel standard! The staff were really helpful at all times and we even got to pick our room from two available, meaning that. Everything about this hotel is great: the staff is extremely welcoming, the design of all areas in the hotel absolutely beautiful, minimalistic style which is nevertheless very warm and light, colors and materials very elegant, the same for the garden and pool area and terraces - it´s so beautiful that you like to stay there the whole day. The rooms don´t lack anything, extremely good mattresses, every room has a balcony. Not to forget the wonderful little Spa, very cozy and tasteful. Altogethe. The Alasia is a beautiful hotel and the staff are excellent however it's location is poor as it's down a side street with no advertising on the main streets nearby the gps system does not identify the location it is 20 mins walk to the waterfront where most of the cafés souvenir shops etc are located. The main tourist area is 15 mins by car. That said if your main purpose is just to relax by the pool enjoy the spa facilities well you could not pick a better place it is a haven of relaxation and. Out of all the hotels in Cyprus, this one was the best for me! Its a very new and very modernly stylish boutique hotel. We were warmly welcomed by the very friendly hotel staff. Given welcome drinks and shown to our room and its facilities. Our bed had a magnificent swan made out of towels on it. The hotel staff are very kind very friendly people especially Miss Christina from the front desk and Mr. Antonis Antoniou assistant in operations. The hotel also allowed us to check out at 2pm!. Very warm welcome with a drink, very friendly staff that makes you feel at home. Excelllent brekfast, and freshly brewed coffee. Actually all the Easter meals were excellent. Spa treatments are so relaxing! The bed mattress and pillow was so comfortable and the linen were so clean and soft that we had a fantastic and uninterrupted sleep all the nights. We had a fantastic Easter holiday we will never forget. we definitely recoment it to all our friends. The hotel had been refurbished & looked absolutely divine. I have travelled to many hotels around the world but the staff at the Alasia are about keeping the customer very happy, everything was with a smile & nothing was too much for them to do. Everything was perfect. The hotel has been recently renovated and everything feels classy and new. Warm earth tones and colours, lounge music. The ability to use the spa facilities, the breakfast by the pool, even the small Apivita toiletries. Small details, big difference. I honestly, cannot think of anything that wasn't perfect. We liked everything. It's location. Nothing. A couple of the rooms were quite small & was unfortunate to be put in one on arriving, as soon as we mentioned it though we were moved to a wonderful room. Parking seems to be an issue from time to time, but hopefully the management can get it up and running by Christmas.
