Nice setting, very friendly family run hotel. Room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with good air con and large empty mini bar for guests to use. Rooms include balcony with lovely views and spotless bathrooms with constant hot water. Breakfast was excellent and varied day to day. Car parking was plentiful and easy. As others have said the village is very quiet and peaceful, so if you like nightlife, this isn't the place for you! We like peace and sleep so it was great for us.
all reviews We found Palates to be the best value for money of anywhere we stayed on Cyprus. Many of the accoutrements of a luxury hotel without the price. A lovely, friendly staff; fabulous views; excellent food; and authentic farming village. The staff was excellent, the location has a great view of the sea and overall we had a great time. The hotel owners also run a tavern close by which has great homemade food!. Beautiful views, location excellent for exploring Akamas, hotel was clean and with traditional cypriot breakfast of meats,cheeses and fruits, cannot fault anything. First I did like the senery, and the hospitality. Also I did like that you hire Cypriot people that undersatnd our launguage, and culture. Very nice experience. Very authentic Cypriot village very nice to be a part of on holiday. You will need a car easy to get to latchi and polis. Perfect place in the height of summer. Very quiet and clean hotel in a small village; friendly staff; good breakfast; wonderful views. In one word: perfect !. Comfortable hotel with lots of possibilities: beach, hiking, culture (near Paphos and Polis). Very limited on places for food we booked 4nights 3would have been enough at this time of year. Weather was quite cold. Nothing.
