  We liked the location which was very rural, but only ten minutes walk from the centre of Polis. Our apartment was on two floors with a reasonable sized sitting room, dining area and kitchenette on the ground floor and a good sized bedroom with balcony and bathroom on the upper floor. We’ve booked a studio, but were offered to take a 1-bedroom apartment with no extra charge even though our room was free. Upon arrival we had a welcome drink with homemade cakes. It’s close to the main square with bars, restaurants, etc. - The owner was very friendly and could not do enough for us. He gave us home made lemonade and cakes pretty much every time we saw him. He took time to explain the local area to us too and even lent us his shisha pipe. The room itself was spacious with a nice balcony and was very good value for money.
