We had a 4 nights stay at this incredible property. Mrs. Zoe- the owner- is a very welcoming, friendly and helpful host. The welcome gift consisting of a bottle of very nice wine and a ball of fruits was highly appreciated. ArtbyPraxis is not a hotel, more of a complex of studios and apartments. Our room (studio) was one of the largest I've stayed in, very nicely furnished and decorated. Everything looks brand new and the cleanliness is exceptional. There's a small kitchenette equipped with cut.
all reviews » Location - 8 min walking from quiet and beautiful beach. Sun beds are available for free at Sofroniou's restaurant - same as full, tasty breakfast! We felt more guests than customers: mid-night arrival or late departure were absolutely not a problem, also having breakfast at 2pm. Room very nice, clean and quiet. Building is very new and decorated in an artistic way (no swimming pool, but gym is on its way). Our Hosts were more than friendly, we spent lots of time learning how Cypriots live an. Modern and clean with a huge deck, green lawns and views to the ocean from our second floor 1-bedroom apartment. We thought the location was great but you do need a car to get around. The area is very quiet in November - most of the restaurants by the beach were closed for the season. However, the weather was glorious, can't understand why it is considered off-season. The owner was friendly and helpful and contacted us by email prior to our arrival. We hope to go to Cyprus again in the future a. The place is very nice and Zoe, the owner, very friendly and caring. The building is very modern, the apartment well organized and smartly furnished. Governor's beach is a quite and cozy place, ideal for us as we don't fancy the busy nightlife of places like Limassol or Agya Napa. Akty Soufronious, Zoe's father, owns a nice restaurant by the beach and he cuddled us with tasty breakfasts and delicious fish for dinner and interesting information on Cyprus. it was really nice to spend some days th. It was amazing to rest in such a peaceful place after few visits in crowded cities. It is not suitable for people looking for party. For us it was good. Main beach is not very impressive, but if you go a little further (in the direction of cliffs and rocks) you can find many little lovely places ideal for sunbath and swimming. A perfect place to stay if you dislike the busy tourist areas. The apartments are spacious with a fully equipped kitchen, huge balcony, wonderful view. Has a reliable internet connection (6Mbit dload/1Mbit upload). Car hire is a must, no shops nearby. The host is very kind and helpful. Really nice hotel, located in a quiet place. Spacious and clean apartments, friendly and welcoming staff, close by the Sea and amazing White Rocks; the only problem is to get to the supermarket without car, but we were picked up there by the hostess) Hope we'll be back someday ). The rooms are clean, well decorated, everything what you can expect is there. Staff are very friendly and kind. The location is not beach-front but very easy to access to the beach and you can have privacy. The property is a bit far from the sea side (300-500 meters if going straight by foot), also at about 1,5 km from the main highway. It's not at all a crowded area filled with pubs and clubs, if one's looking for partying and stuff. If you want to stay there, best bet is to rent a car (pretty cheap in Cyprus). Nothing at all!!!. No shops around, only some restaurants, the closest shops ca. 6 km in Zygi town, but with very little diversity. It is better to buy some food and drinks in advance before coming to this place. Main beach is not very impressive. Poor choice of tv channels, sat tv would be a great addition. Decent place only for those with cars. Unless you want a quiet vacation outside of town and civilisation. a little far from the beach but hey - only a 10 min walk.
